Shalini Jebasingh Patras

Shalini has more than 24 years of work experience in non-profit media. She has worked with visionary leaders, who modeled love towards their team members and followers, including Emil and Ananthi Jebasingh, her parents, and Charles and Cynthia Swindoll. Since she entered the work force, she worked with leaders from numerous countries in Africa, Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe. In 2012, Shalini began her PhD studies in leadership. As she researched leadership, she noticed that workplaces where Biblical values were practiced had joyful team members and long term growth. Some themes found in the Biblical ethics are love, trust, forgiveness, perseverance, and truth.

Growing up, Shalini saw these traits in her father, Emil Jebasingh, who founded a non-profit organization that, today, employs over 3,000 people. She observed three things about her father's leadership - he practiced truth, he never rejected any one who wanted to serve, and he never had a lay off. His vision and the high value he placed on people created growth. She saw the same traits in other leaders with high ethical and moral values. Learning from them, Shalini is committed to Biblical leadership principles that helps team members create workplace excellence and find fulfillment at work.
